The Jobs With Family Flexible Hours
“I need a job with flexible hours for my family.” When you have a family, you need to be able to set the hours and work when you can. The best times are usually during school hours and when you can babysit. Child care is expensive and it’s better for the parent to look after the child rather than have a stranger develop a relationship with your child. Luckily for you, there are bad economy jobs in the health, retail and work at home field.
Nursing is a great field where you can get a high income and choose the hours you work. Since this is in high demand, you won’t have to worry about job opportunities. However, this is a tricky one because it does require schooling.
A job more suitable for someone who doesn’t have time to go back to school is a retail salesperson. With people skills and great work ethics, you can succeed far beyond the regular starting salaries. It is, after all, based on your performance. You can usually find part time work or work in the flexible hours you need.
If you need to have the same schedule as your child, go work at their school as a secretary or a teacher’s assistant. You will get the same hours as your child. The teachers assistant position may require some schooling, however, the secretary position, usually only requires good communication and taking care of administrative duties.
What’s better than working at home? You set your own hours and you don’t answer to anyone. For some, this may be quite a daunting task. It is easy to slack off and not work for a day. When you are your own boss, you work or you don’t get paid. Another huge bonus is that you don’t have to spend money on fuel or get tempted to buy lunches and coffee. Make them at home and save money. Some work at home jobs including customer service reps, accounting for a company or even starting your own business. I suggest you follow your passion if you decide to start. If you love to cook, how about some party planning. If you love to make trinkets or sell things, try EBay or start your own ecommerce store.
The point is, you can always decide how you want to work, and see the moments in your child’s life.
